Travel (Parking, Transit, Restaurants, Lounge, Party Room)

"Where do I park?"

Metered street parking is available in front of the building (free on Sundays). There are also paid parking lots nearby along 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Ave. Parking can be difficult to find, we recommend arriving early if you are planning to drive in

Alternatively, you can park next door at the Republic Parking spot located at 2101 3rd Ave, Seattle, WA 98121, which allows parking for up to 4 hours.

“Can I host a party with Puzzle Break?”

Absolutely! We have a Party Room you can rent for $100/hr alongside our normal game room schedule so you can host a get-together before or after your game, or both! Rental of the Party Room comes with chilled beverages.
Want to add pizza or cake to your Party Room reservation? No problem! Cake is $50 (vanilla or chocolate) and pizza is $75 (2 large, cheese or pepperoni).

“What if I don’t have a car?”

We are right around the corner from the 3rd & Virginia bus stop, which serves many lines!

“Where can I eat around there?”

- FOB Poke Bar is right around the corner and has some of the best fresh eats in Seattle!
- Right across the street is the bar Provisions which is currently serving excellent burgers and fries out of their kitchen.
- Jupiter bar just below us is serving pizza!
- Date night? Have a nice Italian dinner at La Fontana Siciliana before or after your puzzle experience!

“What if I get there early or need somewhere to hang out after my game?”

No worries! We have a large, cozy lounge to hang out in — grab some water, play a game, charge your phone, and make yourself comfortable!

Accessibility & Health Concerns

“Can you make accommodations for visual or hearing impairments?”

Please email us ahead of time at info@puzzlebreak.us to let us know which room you are planning to play and how you can best be accommodated, and we will discuss what is possible!

"Is this facility handicap accessible?"

We deeply understand the importance of providing equal access and accommodation for individuals with disabilities, but unfortunately, this facility is not handicap accessible.

"Are there any health conditions that would prevent a player from playing the game?"

None of our rooms aims to put you in shocking situations nor negatively affect your health.

In our Escape from Seattle: The World’s Fair Affair room, we will ask beforehand if anyone is photosensitive to flashing lights, not used to shock, that can be deactivated for the game if necessary!

Games (Difficulty, Group Size, Duration)

"How long does it take to finish the game?"

That can vary wildly depending on prior experience and other factors! Our goal will be to help you see as much of the puzzle room as possible during your 60 minutes of in-room time.

"Any suggestions before we start the game?"

In order to ensure an uninterrupted fun experience, make sure to use the restroom and drop off any food, beverage, or gum before your experience begins!

"What's the ideal group size for an escape room?"

Any of our rooms can be fun with any group size! Keep in mind that fewer players usually means the room is harder to complete, which only amplifies with the posted difficulty of the room, so keep that in mind when choosing your adventuring party and room selection!

"There are more than 10 of us and we would like to play together. Can we do that?"

We do not allow more than the maximum listed player capacity in a single room at the same time. However, you're more than welcome to bring more friends and play across multiple rooms!

A great option for a group of 10+ would be our dueling Mystic Manor rooms! Just book Mystic Manor Red & Mystic Manor Blue during the same time slot for up to 8 players in each room to embark on an exciting escape adventure with your large group for an advantageous price!

"What is the difference between the rooms?"

They differ in their story, mood, design, size, difficulty and objectives. Each one is unique and offers a different experience. The goal remains the same: "Escape!" We are keeping the rest a secret for now!

"The number of participants showing up may differ from the number that was booked. Is this a problem?"

No, it's not. In this case you don't need to call us. It's okay if we learn the final number of your group at the door.

You will be asked to pay by credit or debit card for the additional players at the door.

Booking (Cost, Events, Vouchers)

"How does booking work?"

You can make a reservation through our reservation system.

The reservation takes only a minute. You can easily track and change it as you wish. You can also call us or email us if you need assistance.

"How much does it cost and how should I pay?"

For 2 people: $59.95 per person.
For 3-4 people: $44.95 per person.
From 5 people: $39.95 per person.

You will be prompted for payment when making the reservation. You can pay online conveniently using your debit or credit card.

"Is my reservation OK? How do I know?"

After making the reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with all the information you need.

"What happens if my voucher's promotional value expires?"

In case of a purchased coupon:
After the expiration date printed on your coupon, its promotional value expires, but you can still redeem it at the PanIQ Room for the amount paid.

For example, if you paid $99 for a coupon redeemable for a $149 ticket, that coupon is still valid for $99 worth of ticket. Our system will accept your reservation, and you will have to pay the $50 difference at the door in order to play.

"I would like to surprise someone with an 'escape' as a gift! How can I do that?"

You can purchase a gift voucher for your recipient conveniently online, here.

You can either print or send the voucher to the recipient, and its voucher number can be applied to the reservation when booking online.

"Do you offer a military discount?"

Yes. We offer 10% off for all active military. Please email info@puzzlebreak.us to receive the code and show your military ID to your game host upon arrival.

Policies (Cancellations, Rescheduling, Age Restrictions)

"What's the age policy at Puzzle Break?"

Players under 18 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone 18 or older. We reserve the right to in-person GM your game if your players are mostly under 18.

Children under the age of 8 are not permitted.
The staff at Puzzle Break reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

"What is your cancellation & reschedule policy?"

All sales are final. We do not issue refunds for cancellations and no shows.

You can reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before its start time. For games less than 24 hours away, a 15% rescheduling fee will be charged.

How to reschedule your game in 3 steps:
1. Click on your reservation link provided above.
2. Once on our Booking Confirmation page, click the "Reschedule Booking" button. You will then receive a Reschedule Code with a balance matching your booking price.
3. Use the voucher code to book a game at a suitable time on our website.

Please note that rescheduling is not possible if the game is scheduled to start within less than 12 hours, and the Reschedule Code is valid for 3 months.

"What if we're late for our private game?"

Your game begins precisely at the time you reserved. Unfortunately, if you are late we might have to deduct time from your game or apply a late fee.

Please keep in mind that you have to arrive 15 minutes before your starting time. This will ensure you get the full game time in your room.

Rescheduling due to a late arrival (5 minutes into game start time) might be subject to a $5 per person late surcharge.

Arriving 15 minutes after a game is scheduled to start will be considered a “no show” and the reservation will be cancelled. No refunds will be issued.

If you notify us by phone that you will be late, we will do our best to wait or accommodate a new time for you.

"How do I cancel the reservation?"

You can cancel your reservation by replying to your original confirmation email and letting us know that you'd like to cancel. However, we encourage you to reschedule because there are no refunds applied to canceled reservations.

If you wish to reschedule your reservation, you can do it one time at least 24 hours prior to your original reservation time by replying to your original confirmation email telling us your new preferred date and time.

"When should I arrive?"

All groups are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their reserved time. Your booking begins 10 minutes prior to the start of your game to allow for a check in, a quick overview of the escape room process, storing your belongings in a locker, and using the restrooms, if needed.

If you arrive after the 10-minute mark, even if it is before the start time of your game, we may not be able to give you the full allotted time to make your escape. Your game clock begins promptly at the scheduled start time!

"What if we can't show up after paying online?"

We're sorry, but there will be no refunds issued for no shows or cancelled reservations.

In case of a voucher payment, the voucher number entered online will be automatically marked as redeemed after making a reservation.

You do have one option to reschedule your game at least 24 hours prior to your reservation time.
